Not all build sites are perfect. Our client wanted their ADU tailored for visiting friends and Airbnb guests. The problem? Their backyard sat on a prominent slope and featured a large tree. Working with them for almost a year, we redesigned this client’s entire yard for this 564 sq ft rental unit, incorporating cathedral ceilings to provide visitors plenty of space. The result is a spacious guest house—the ideal home base for a weekend exploring Portland.
