Traditional neighborhood, traditional ADU. But – on the inside we worked with the client to take full advantage of the cathedral space to create a wonderful living area. Lots of windows, light colors and natural wood all help create drama and elegance in this small space. The ADU then opens up to a private patio behind the ADU. It should be noted that the sleeping loft and ladder were added after permit as ladders are not allowed in the residential building code for access to habitable areas.
