The clients wanted to convert an existing garage on the rear/side property line into an ADU and retain some storage for basic yard equipment. The result is a 440 sf ADU with 100 sf of storage for the house. The ADU’s only yard/light is at the end of the driveway which has been landscaped to feel more like a front yard than an end to a driveway.
